Upon notification of this incident our staff and the Sheriff’s Office quickly responded to investigate the incident to ensure that the victim receives the justice she is entitled to. The perpetrator is employed by a private provider in Summit County. Summit DD takes the health, safety and welfare of those we serve very seriously, and has partnered with the Summit County Sheriff’s office to ensure that criminal cases against individuals with developmental disabilities are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
