Local Kids’ Push-Chair Team Makes History at Cleveland Triathlon

On Sunday, July 27 a group of unstoppable Summit County kids united our community. Together, they took the Cleveland Triathlon by storm and firmly made their mark on history. From every street corner, cheers for Team Ethan rang out. After one hour and fourteen seconds of intense swimming, biking and running, best friends and team leaders, Ethan and Rachel, completed the rigorous race. Summit County Special Olympians Sweep USA Games

Thousands of athletes from all over the nation recently took over Princeton, New Jersey to compete in the Special Olympics USA Games. At the closing ceremonies, after a week of tough competition, three Summit County Olympians stood proudly with gold medals draped around their necks. Read More ›
