Summit DD Artists Honored by Ohio Governor

The Ohio Arts Council has recently selected artwork from artists across Ohio to be displayed in Governor John Kasich’s office throughout 2014. Included in the Council’s selection are works by artists James and Marlon from County of Summit Developmental Disabilities Board’s (Summit DD) Microenterprise program. Making a Difference, One Camper at a Time

Great organizations can help define a community. Since 1924, the Akron Rotary Camp has been shaping Summit County, one camper at a time. A project of theRotary Club of Akron, the camp is operated by the Akron Area YMCA. The collaboration between these organizations helps more than 1,600 children and adults with developmental disabilities attend a camp with a cause. Read More ›
