Adult Services
Adult Facility-Based Services
The County of Summit Developmental Disabilities Board believes that adults with developmental disabilities should receive the full range of services they need to be participating members of their communities. Adult Services are designed to help all individuals choose vocational and social challenges, and pursue them in the most integrated and least restrictive settings possible.

Community Employment Services
The Community Supports and Services department supports the Board mission by matching employment opportunities in the local community
with individuals who will perform the job to the expectations of the employer. The department also provides services intended to prepare individuals with little or no employment experience with training designed to prepare them for future employment.
There are approximately 200 employers in Summit County who have worked with us to provide employment opportunities in a wide variety of industries. Individuals who are placed in a job by Summit DD maintain their employment an average of 6.6 years.
For additional information about services the department offers or to learn more about the benefits of hiring an individual with a disability, please contact Carrie Roberts at Croberts@summitdd.org or by calling 330-634-8193.
