2016 Summer Camp Guide

It’s time to think about summer camp! Some of the best childhood memories are made at summer camp, learning, exploring, making friends – it’s the perfect way to keep the summer from getting stale. And now is the perfect time to start thinking about which camp is the right fit for your loved one. Whether you are looking for camps for kids, teens or adults, our 2016 Summer Camp Guide can help you and your camper find, fund and prepare for camp this year!

Choosing a Camp

Think about the type of experience that your camper is looking for. Is it a half day, full day, overnight, educational, sports-orientated, arts-based? There are as many types of camps as there are campers!  Check out some of the local resources below to get your search started. Remember, you can choose the camp that fits your family’s needs, wherever you may find it!

Funding Your Camp Experience

Once you’ve chosen the camp that fits your interests and schedule, be sure to contact us to determine what kind of funding may be available to you. Some or all of the camp fees could be covered. Contact us to find out more.

Summit DD’s Camp Services Coordinator will work with you to set up a contract with the camp of your choice and determine how much funding may be available based on your family income. But don’t worry, we will walk you through all the details!

Ready, Set, Camp!

Once registered, our Camp Service Coordinator will help create a Camp Service Plan that details accommodations your child’s needs, daily medications and other useful information to ensure your camper has a safe and fun time at summer camp.
