Jim Gill Concert

Jim Gill is a man of many talents. He can write infectious kids songs, he can play a mean banjo and he can turn any ordinary space into a colorful world of fun for kids. But it turns out, catchy tunes and rocking dance moves are not the best part of a Jim Gill concert. What really steals the show is the concert’s focus on inclusion. The music becomes a bridge for kids of all abilities to connect, where the only differences that exist between them is the creative ways they choose to bust a move.

For the past three years Summit DD has hosted Jim Gill, award-winning children’s musician and entertainer, in partnership with Northampton United Methodist Church as an opportunity for parents to press pause on the stress of the day and have quality time to grow and play with their children. And for the kids, its an opportunity to interact with their peers of all ability levels.

Even the shyest kids couldn’t resist hopping and dancing around by the end of the night.

That’s exactly why Summit DD creates these partnerships; to build a close-knit community where everyone is involved. And most importantly, for the kids it’s just plain fun!
