Record-Breaking Summit DD Food Drive

Summit DD staff strive to go above and beyond to support our community. And this summer’s staff food drive was no exception. Together we collected a whopping 4,840 lbs of food, shattering last winter’s drive at only 2,500 lbs. “The Akron-Canton Food Bank is a valuable resource used by many people we support. It’s our responsibility to contribute and raise awareness…and we’ve accomplished that!” shared food drive leader and SSA Nick McCoy.

The Summit DD team is proud of their efforts. Not only was this beneficial to the Food Bank, it was also beneficial in building staff comradery. Check out some pics below from the final food collection, and start planning how you can contribute to those in need within our community.
