I am the Summit DD - Lucy

As a two-year-old, Lucy attended Calico for childcare up to four days a week, which allowed her parents to both work and to receive some respite. When Lucy turned three and transitioned from Help-Me-Grow to our local school district, the best available option for our family was to keep Lucy at Calico part-time.
As a three-year-old she now attends her local public pre-school two half-days and then attends Calico for childcare three full-days each week. This arrangement enables Lucy to receive all of her therapies and services in her community school district, while still getting quality childcare, skilled nursing, and therapist consults during full days in her inclusive childcare class at Calico.
Because Lucy's physical and medical needs are extensive, Calico is really the only local day care option, outside of costly private nursing. Having Calico available for a few, full days a week means that Lucy's Mother can work part-time and be confident that Lucy is being both loved and cared for and included with her pre-school-aged friends at Calico.
