I am the Summit DD - Gene

Gene enjoys working for Custer Products. He is proof of the success of the Supported Employment Program that assists individuals in gaining employment, then following them to ensure their success.

Gene started working at Custer Products in March 2009 doing production-related assembly and packaging work. Gene was then given an opportunity to work in the warehouse’s shipping and receiving department and has flourished, seeing an increase in both his hours worked and his wages. Custer Products counts on Gene every day to help fill and pack orders for their customers. Gene counts on his job at Custer Products for more than just a paycheck; he gets a sense of accomplishment and belonging from being a part of a winning team!
