The holiday season is a time for laughter, joy, and giving.  As we reflect on 2015 we are eternally grateful to those we support, their families, staff and the community for their contributions to our great community, a community built by the abilities of all citizens.  We realize that we can’t achieve our Mission without your support and as public servants we are happy to give back.  Find some of the ways our staff gave back this year in our Summit DD Gives Back video.

In 2015 Summit DD was honored to support several charitable organizations including the Akron Rotary Foundation, Hattie Larlham, Ardmore Foundation, Up Side of Downs, The Arc of Summit and Portage Counties, Summit County Children’s Services, Zane’s Foundation, The Dane Foundation, NAACP, Autism Society of Greater Akron, Greater Akron Chamber, Goodwill Industries, among others.

In addition employees participated in Downtown Akron Partnership’s Green and Clean Day, United Way Day of Action, Akron Canton Regional Food Bank food drive, Inclusion Day with the Akron Rubber Ducks, Akron Marathon, Holiday Giving Tree, No Shave November, and the Lock Three Winterfest.
