Occasionally, people contact Summit DD to find volunteer opportunities. Whether it’s your passion or a school curriculum, it’s definitely a great way for people to support fellow citizens and get to know someone new while you’re at it.
Luckily, we live in a county with many wonderful organizations and disability providers. This opens up a variety of options for volunteering. Opportunities can range from assisting individuals and staff at center-based Day Programs, to helping out with sports or theater activities on evenings or weekends. Providers are looking for all different types of skills and interests, so there’s sure to be one that’s right for you.
