Event Description
Join Summit DD for a morning of sensory-friendly activities at the Lock 3 Winterfest. In partnership with the Akron Children’s Museum, Replay for Kids, PetSmart, Here For You Child Development Center and IAPBC, Summit DD will be on hand to help families with sensory sensitivities enjoy some festive activities.
- 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.: Sensory-Friendly Hour – Perfect for little ones who prefer quieter
environments while enjoying WinterFest activities (FREE with RSVP) - 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.: Sibling Secret Santa – Let siblings shop for their brothers and
sisters in an adapted Santa’s Workshop, compliments of Replay for Kids
(FREE with RSVP) - 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Summit DD-Supported Activities – Visit with Santa, decorate
your own cookie or join friends for a round of Polar Putt-Putt – Summit DD
will be there to assist if needed - 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.: WinterFest Activities – at Lock 3 Spend the day enjoying all your
favorite WinterFest activities in the heart of downtown Akron (Open to the Public) - Download the event flier here!
