Event Description

Join Summit DD, in partnership with the Akron Children’s Museum, RePlay for Kids and the IAPBC for special sensory-friendly activities at this year’s WinterFest!

When: Saturday, December 2, 2017

  • 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Sensory-Friendly Hour. Perfect for little ones who prefer quieter environments while enjoying WinterFest activities. (FREE with wristband – RSVP required)
  • 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Sibling Secret Santa. Let siblings shop for their brothers and sisters in an adapted Santa’s Workshop, compliments of Replay for Kids. (FREE with wristband – RSVP required)
  • 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Summit DD-Supported Activities. Visit with Santa, decorate your own cookie or join friends for a round of Polar Putt-Putt – Summit DD will be there to assist if needed. (FREE with wristband – RSVP required)
  • 12:00-10:00 p.m.: WinterFest Activities at Lock 3. Spend the day enjoying all your favorite WinterFest activities in the heart of downtown Akron Open to the Public. (FREE with wristband – RSVP required)
