Nearly 300 disability advocates, elected officials, government organizations, disability service providers and leaders in the community gathered at Quaker Station in Akron on Tuesday for the Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board, or Summit DD, inaugural Appreciation Breakfast and Awards Celebration.
