Summit DD Gives Back: United Way

Summit DD staff recently volunteered at United Way’s annual Stuff the Bus event—an essential community program designed to collect and sort school supplies for students from all 28 Akron Public Elementary Schools. The event hosted hundreds of volunteers representing many local businesses and organizations, including Firestone, Signet Jewelers, Enterprise, PNC Bank, Continental Tire, and more. Dream Big: Symphonie’s Story

“If your dreams aren’t scary, they aren’t big enough,” shared Symphonie with a glowing smile. Within a matter of minutes, you quickly discover her infectious personality, plus her desire to positively impact others. “Even though I have a physical challenge, I can help people. Summit DD Staff Compete in 2019 Akron Corporate Challenge

The Akron Corporate Challenge is an athletic competition promoting employee wellness, company camaraderie, and business networking while helping local charities. The Summit DD Team participated for a fourth consecutive year and placed 5th out of 16 teams. Other competitors included large organizations like Gojo, InfoCision, Signet Jewelers, and more. Overall, nearly 80 Summit DD staff and family members participated in the tournament which consisted of 13 different events throughout June and July. Read More ›
