Board Passes COVID-19 Resolution to Protect Health of Staff and Individuals

It’s clear in times like these, when information changes fast and frequently, how important it is for a leadership team to take immediate steps to protect the well-being of staff and the people we serve.  This evening, Summit DD held an emergency meeting. The Board approved a resolution that now allows the Superintendent to enact any proactive measure to safeguard Agency employees, without requiring additional Board approval.

“These are unprecedented times,” expressed Superintendent, John Trunk about the COVID-19  health crisis. “It’s critical for us to take any measures that can help ensure the continuity of support for those we serve and help keep people safe.”
