The next Summit County People First Self Advocacy meeting will be held on August 13th at 4:30pm.
This month’s guest will be Josh Young from the Ohio Network for Innovation. Josh will be facilitating a D&D style game focusing on self-direction and self-advocacy. Dungeons & Dragons & Decisions is a choose-your own- adventure game that blends Supported Decision-Making and Game-Based Learning to teach decision making skills and self-determination principles. No experience necessary!
One important thing to note, August’s meeting will be in person only. Unfortunately, the game is not set up to be done in a hybrid meeting. The meeting will be held at Summit DD Cuyahoga Falls Office Building 2355 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, 44221.
