PPE and Cleaning Supplies Available to Families and People with Disabilities

Personal Protective Equipment, known as PPE, can be powerful tools in the fight against COVID-19. Items like face masks, gloves and face shields, help minimize the spread of the virus when close contact is necessary. For many who receive support with personal care, PPE is a key tool to help keep them protected.

Summit DD Can Help

At times, it has been difficult for people to find or purchase PPE and disinfectant. That’s why Summit DD is doing everything we can to help.

“We are committed to supporting providers’ and families’ efforts to acquire PPE and other health and safety supplies during the Covid-19 pandemic,” explained Senior Manager of Community Supports and Development, Joe DiFranco.

DiFranco and his team have worked diligently throughout 2020 to find, purchase and distribute crucial cleaning supplies and PPE to local disability providers and individuals, in an effort to minimize their risk of exposure to COVID-19. To date, Summit DD has distributed more than 67,000 PPE items to our provider community.
