Meet Rosemene! She is Summit DD’s 2026 Carlene Weaver Achievement Award winner. This award honors an individual with developmental disabilities who through live experience, actions or self-advocacy helps change perceptions or bring about positive awareness for those with developmental disabilities in Summit County.
Recently, Rosemene advocated to become her own legal guardian, which led to her reaching many exciting life goals like living independently, working in the Giant Eagle bakery, competing in the Special Olympics, and more. Watch her story and join us in celebrating her achievements.
