Community Partnership Helps Nearly 100 Local Teens

For the past three years, Summit DD has partnered with Summit County Jobs and Family Services to provide essential employment opportunities for local teens. Parent Transition Academy a Big Success

In the first quarter of 2018, Summit DD partnered with six community organizations to sponsor a Parent Transition Academy. Hosted by the Summit Educational Service Center, this educational series was designed specifically for parents and guardians of middle and high school students with disabilities. An Eye for Change

Life can be a struggle—it’s a lesson we’ve all learned. For a young teen named Bryce and his mother Angela, they’ve taken their struggle and transformed it into change. “When Bryce was diagnosed with autism, it was difficult to find services where we used to live,” recalled Angela. “It was a ladder.
