Monday, March 1, 2021 is Inclusion Dayso grab your orange attire – masks count too! – and start posting your inclusion pride! Join Summit DD in painting the county ORANGE to kick off DD Awareness Month and promote community inclusion.
We’ve also partnered with the Akron Zoo again for Inclusion Day. Get in for FREE Saturday-Monday (February 27- March 1, 2021) by just wearing orange! Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board (Summit DD) and Summit County Public Health (SCPH) conducted drive through vaccine clinics at SCPH this month. Nearly 700 individuals with disabilities living in congregate settings and their caregivers received the first dose of the vaccine during Phase 1A of Ohio’s vaccine roll out.Read More ›
