Elizabeth Schrack currently works as a behavioral health clinician at The Blick Center, where she uses evidence-based practices to support individuals in reaching their personal goals. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The University of Akron and brings experience working with underrepresented communities through roles in behavioral health, social services, and mentoring.
Elizabeth has a strong background in advocacy and leadership. She was crowned Ms. Wheelchair Ohio in 2014. She served as a statewide spokesperson for people with disabilities and represented Ohio at the Ms. Wheelchair America competition, where she received the “Don’t Take No for an Answer” Award. Through this role, she presented to students of all ages on disability awareness, cerebral palsy, and service dogs.
Her professional and volunteer experiences reflect her commitment to inclusion, access to resources, and community support. Experiences include: work with Asian Services In Action, Friendship Food Pantry, and St. Vincent de Paul. Elizabeth also brings leadership experience from her time as a peer mentor and vice president of a university student organization. She is passionate about using her skills in social work, basic American Sign Language, and advocacy to support individuals with disabilities and strengthen inclusive communities.
