Community Outpouring for Inclusion Day 2023

Amazing things happen when a community unites! On Monday, March 6th more than 10,000 people came together to proudly proclaim that our community is strongest when everyone is included. From people and families who receive essential Summit DD services to inclusive local businesses and organizations, the community outpouring was truly remarkable. Thank you for making Inclusion Day 2023 a massive success!

See what we all accomplished together in the comprehensive slideshow below! So many happy faces and SO MUCH ORANGE!

A special thanks to the Akron Zoo for partnering with Summit DD yet again to host three back-to-back Inclusion Days at the zoo. We also receive so much support from countless public officials, city organizations, private disability providers, local libraries, and more. Such amazing partnerships that we value so very much!

Summit DD is a levy funded government organization that provides and coordinates essential services for nearly 5,000 people with developmental disabilities throughout Summit County. Whether it’s early intervention services for a newborn child or retirement services for a senior citizen, Summit DD provides a lifetime of support for those eligible for our services.
