Summit DD and Akron Municipal Court Launch New Support Program
Summit DD believes in meeting people where they are. We have a long history of supporting people based on each person’s individual needs. There are instances where a person with a disability may need support through a legal process, to make sure they understand the situation and ensure they receive the proper support to put them on the right path going forward. 2022 Family Engagement Program
2022 Summit DD’s Family Engagement Program
For several years, Summit DD has offered a program called the Family Engagement Program (FEP). This program allows families to access funding to promote community inclusion for the youngest members of our community. Here’s what you need to know for 2022. Summit DD DSP Appreciation Grant
Throughout the pandemic, local disability providers have been there to ensure that people receive the daily services they rely on. These partners put the needs of those we serve above their own. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and front-line managers continued to support people in their homes even when most of the community was in lockdown. These caring professionals knew that the daily services they provide are essential to people with developmental disabilities. Read More ›
