Kiana Smith, HR Coordinator

“Prior to joining Summit DD, I spent the last five years of my career working in the educational sector. Over the course of my career, I had several positions, including Main Office Coordinator, Paraeducator, and Substitute Teacher. I like to read in my spare time as I’m enamored with the nostalgia of a nice hardback or paperback book. I appreciate spending time with my family, and I take pleasure in speaking out in support of individuals with disabilities. I’ve gained knowledge and training in the field of special education thanks to my love for lifelong learning, and I’m constantly looking for ways to give back to my community.” – Kiana Smith, HR Coordinator

“I previously worked at REM Ohio, coordinating services for three adult day programs, for individuals with various needs and abilities. I’m looking forward to being able to be a support for the individuals on my case load and to be able to assist in a variety of ways. I’m also looking forward to being part of a team, including my coworkers, who have different experiences. I am getting married soon and I am very excited to start a new chapter of my life with my soon-to-be wife. I also enjoy going to concerts and listening to music as well as reading true crime books in my native language (Polish).” – Marcin Paszt, SSA
