Community Employment

Summit DD partners with state agencies (like Ohio Means Jobs) and providers to create a team that will support your employment goals. If employment interests you, talk to your SSA or RSS. Your SSA or RSS can connect you to the resources that can help you assess your interests and skills, help you build skills, prepare for interviews, assist with your resume and employment paperwork as well as on-the-job assistance.

Requesting Summit DD’s participation in community events

Summit DD actively engages the community with targeted outreach efforts and awareness campaigns to foster a greater understanding of developmental disabilities and increasing visibility and support for our mission. We participate in numerous community events each year.

To request Summit DD’s participation in a community event, an online request form must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the event. See event request guidelines below. Requests are reviewed and a Summit DD team member will contact you to confirm whether we are able to participate. Read More ›
