The best way to access your community is with reliable transportation options. From private to public transportation, you have many choices to get you where you’re going. Explore these options below and speak with your Service and Support Administrator to coordinate services. All providers are certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
- With the Select A Provider tool, you can access and choose from a network of quality private providers to meet your transportation needs. These services transport you to and from your job or center-based day program. Summit DD helps to monitor these providers to ensure they uphold the health, welfare and safety of passengers.

- Summit DD-operated transportation gets you to and from you Summit DD center-based day program or Summit DD community employment site. Transportation to recreational events are part of your Homemaker Personal Care or residential services.

- Public transportation options like METRO/SCAT/ADA are available throughout Summit County. Summit DD can cover the costs of your buss pass, as well as provide Community Travel services. Community Travel services teach individuals to safely and independently use public transportation.
