More Than 600 Providers Benefit from Summit DD Grant

Summit County disability service providers deliver the essential services that people with developmental disabilities rely on to meet their daily needs. These Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and front-line managers support people in their homes, provide daily care and ensure that people can get to their jobs and day programs safely. It isn’t an easy career, but it’s more than a job to these professionals. It’s a purpose. Summit County hosts a donation drive-thru for children and adults with disabilities

TALLMADGE, Ohio — Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board serves about 5,000 adults and children with developmental disabilities through a variety of services and programs.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect place to call home or are in need of extra support in your current residence, your SSA can help you uncover the right solution for you. Residential supports are provided by a network of quality private providers. These services are coordinated through your Summit DD SSA.
